Murali signs off home career with wicket

COLOMBO (AFP) – Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan distinguished his last round in general cricket upon home dirt with a wicket in a World Cup semi-finals upon Tuesday.

Muralitharan had Scott Styris lbw off a last round of his 10th over to finish with 2-42 after progressing dismissing Jesse Ryder for 19.

He has so distant taken 534 wickets in 349 matches to supplement to his 800 Test wickets — an additional universe record.

The 38-year-old will retire after a World Cup, a last of that takes place in Mumbai upon Saturday.
