Zimbabwe's Sibanda to replace injured Williams

NEW DELHI (AFP) – Batsman Vusi Sibanda has been called-up to reinstate harmed Sean Williams in Zimbabwe’s World Cup squad.

Williams fractured his right ride whilst precision in Ahmedabad forward of his side’s compare opposite New Zealand upon Friday.

Sibanda, a right-handed batsman from Harare, has played in 85 one-day internationals, scoring 1,796 runs with a single century as well as twelve half-centuries.

Williams is a 12th player to be transposed in a contest as well as a fourth for Zimbabwe after Edward Rainsford, Tinotenda Mawoyo as well as Sean Ervine were ruled out.

Zimbabwe, placed in Group A, have won a single as well as mislaid dual joining matches in a contest so far.
