Ireland move up cricket rankings

NEW DELHI (AFP) – Minnows Ireland have leapfrogged Zimbabwe in a one-day general rankings after their overwhelming World Cup win over England, a International Cricket Council pronounced Monday.

The marvellous feat in Bangalore final Wednesday warranted Ireland, a second-tier, or join forces with part of of a ICC, sufficient points to pierce in to 10th on all sides in a rankings.

Zimbabwe have been a full part of of a ICC with Test as well as one-day general standing though have been now dead in Tests.

Australia sojourn a top-ranked side, with World Cup corner hosts India in second place. Sri Lanka have been up to third place.
